Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt have officially married, Indian media reported. The couple signed under the Special Marriage Act in Mumbai after 12:30pm local time on Sunday.
Festivities surrounding the wedding began in the morning, with luxury cars arriving at the actor’s residence. Although held in an intimate setting, the wedding of a superstar of Khan’s stature drew considerable attention.
Khan was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira Khan. After separating from Dutta, he married filmmaker Kiran Rao, with whom he has a son named Azad Khan. Both previous marriages ended in divorce.
