The banned Chhatra League has hung a banner beside the Jagannath University campus in memory of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, his wife Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib and other members of the family killed on Aug 15.
The banner was put up on Friday morning in the Bishwajit Chattar area, next to the footbridge beside the university’s third gate.
Ashiq-E-Atahar Mesbah, organising secretary of the Jagannath University Chhatra League, and Mehedi Hasan, its joint general secretary, were present.
The university’s proctor, Dr Md Azam Khan, could not be reached for comment.
