Mohammed Younus, president of the Bangladesh Professional Golfers’ Association (BPGA) and chairman of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, has paid a courtesy call and held bilateral talks with Malaysia’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Mohd Suhada Othman, aimed at developing Bangladesh’s professional golfers, international cooperation and expanding future prospects.
The meeting, held on July 22, discussed the overall development of Bangladesh’s professional golfers, international-standard training, skills development and various aspects of expanding sports cooperation between Bangladesh and Malaysia.
At the meeting the Malaysian high commissioner expressed sincerity and interest in increasing mutual cooperation between Bangladesh and Malaysia centred on golf.
BPGA secretary general Sifat Ahmed Chowdhury was present.
