The funeral of Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and four of his family members, killed in a US and Israeli strike, has been completed. Khamenei’s sons attended the ceremony, which drew hundreds of thousands of mourners.
The Associated Press reported that Khamenei’s sons Masoud, Meisam, and Mostafa attended the funeral prayers. IRGC commander Ahmad Vahidi was also present.
However, current Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei did not attend due to security concerns stemming from Israeli assassination threats, the report said.
