Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC has launched a “Customer Service Month” campaign under the slogan “Building tomorrow’s Bangladesh through welfare-oriented banking.”
Acting Managing Director Md. Altaf Hossain inaugurated the campaign on Wednesday (July 1) at Islami Bank Tower as chief guest. Additional Managing Director Engineer Mohammad Jamal Uddin Majumdar was the special guest, and the event was chaired by Additional Managing Director Dr. M. Kamal Uddin Jasim.
Executive Vice President Md. Mojnuzzaman and Deputy Managing Directors Md. Mahbub Alam, Mahmudur Rahman, Md. Rafiqul Islam, Muhammad Saeed Ullah, and Md. Maksudur Rahman were among the senior executives present. All zone heads, branch managers, and sub-branch officers joined virtually.
Altaf Hossain said all branches, sub-branches, agent outlets, and digital banking services of Islami Bank are operating normally. Remittance customers are receiving services without disruption.
“Most customers who had closed their accounts and withdrawn funds have already returned, placing their trust back in the bank. This spontaneous return is a clear reflection of their long-standing confidence in us,” he said.
He described Islami Bank as “a strong, stable, and robust financial institution” and called on staff to maintain transparency, accountability, good governance, and the highest level of professionalism.
