Switzerland is continuing to provide a ‘secure and confidential’ environment at its Bürgenstock resort to advance talks on implementing the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the United States and Iran, the country has said, according to Reuters.
In a statement on Saturday, the Swiss foreign ministry said that, for the sake of confidentiality, it would not disclose who was taking part in the talks or what was being discussed.
The ministry said Switzerland had long served as a neutral and trusted intermediary for sensitive diplomatic negotiations.
