Satellite images have captured significant damage to Saudi Arabia’s important oil installation, Aramco, after missile and drone attacks from Yemen.

Images taken on Monday show burn marks around a circular storage tank at Saudi Aramco’s Yanbu bulk plant on the Red Sea coast, indicating that the site was damaged in the recent attack.

Signs of more severe damage were found at the Alhamrani-Fuchs blending and grease plant in Yanbu Industrial City. The satellite images show clear traces of fire across a large part of the site.

The images emerged after the spokesman for Yemen’s resistance group, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced two major military operations in Saudi Arabia. He described the attacks as a step taken against Saudi Arabia’s “naked and criminal aggression.”

According to Yahya Saree, the first operation targeted various installations in Saudi Arabia’s Jizan region with a number of ballistic missiles and drones.
