Teachers and staff at non-government educational institutions whose applications, filed with the Teachers’ and Employees’ Retirement Benefit Board through this past July, have not yet received their retirement benefits have been asked to send the required documents to the board. Index numbers, application ID numbers and other information must be submitted.
The information was disclosed in a recent notice from the Teachers’ and Employees’ Retirement Benefit Board.
The notice said that among applications submitted to the Retirement Benefit Board through July 2026, teachers and staff who have not yet received their retirement benefits are requested to send the required documents to the board.
These include: an updated bank statement from the teacher or staff member’s active bank account; a copy of the teacher or staff member’s National ID; a mobile number registered under the teacher or staff member’s own NID. For death-related applications: an online death certificate, a power-of-attorney document on 300-taka non-judicial stamp paper, an heirship certificate, an updated bank statement from the nominee’s active bank account, a copy of the nominee’s NID, and a mobile number registered under the nominee’s own NID. The index number, application ID number and submission date must also be stated.
Documents must be submitted at the Retirement Benefit Board office at Probashi Kalyan Bhaban on Eskaton Garden Road in the capital. School teachers should submit documents in rooms 1415 and 1421; college and technical education teachers in rooms 1416 and 1421; and madrasa staff in rooms 1413 and 1421.
