DARSHANA — Md. Ruhul Amin, the Jamaat-e-Islami candidate for the Chuadanga-2 constituency and the party’s Chuadanga district amir and central Majlis-e-Shura member, met with print and electronic journalists at the Darshana Press Club on Saturday.
The meeting was held at noon on Saturday, Oct. 25, and was chaired by the Darshana Press Club president, Ikramul Haque Pipul. Advocate Md. Ruhul Amin, district amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in Chuadanga, attended as chief guest.
Special guests included Maulana Azizur Rahman, the district naib amir; Abdul Qader, the district assistant secretary; Mahbubur Rahman Tuku, the Darshana thana secretary; Jahidul Islam, the thana organizing secretary; Alamgir, the assistant organizing secretary of Darshana and district correspondent for the daily Sangram; and Sahikul Alam Apu, the Darshana municipality amir.
Also present were Monirruzzaman Sumon, general secretary of the Darshana Press Club; joint general secretary Hasmat Ali; club president Awal Hossain; general secretary Masum Billah; and senior journalists Monirruzzaman Dhiru, Kamruzzaman Juddo, Rezaul Karim Liton, Jahidul Islam, Rifat, Badhon, Mahmud Hasan Roni, Md. Nazrul Islam, Ahsan Habib Mamun, Farhad Hossain, Royel and Abdul Hannan, among others.
