MUJIBNAGAR — A special health and nutrition campaign organized by Good Neighbors Bangladesh Meherpur CDP was held Thursday at the Mujibnagar CDP Ballavpur project office.
The morning event was chaired by CDP manager Bipul Rema. Gynecologist Dr. Sinthia Afrin Simi and food and nutrition expert Fazle Rabbi attended as chief guests. Health officer Ahsanul Haque moderated the campaign. Senior administrative officer Uttam Kumar Roy and medical officer Mehedi Hasan (Sweet) were also present.
The campaign focused on discussions of maternal and child health, the benefits of nutritious food, and guidance on balanced diets. Gynecological consultations were offered at low cost, and diet charts were provided for undernourished children. The community also received health and nutrition packages at a 30% discount.
Good Neighbors Bangladesh said the campaign made significant progress in expanding access to affordable services, raising health awareness, and spreading nutritional knowledge in the community.
