DHAKA — Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus met the chiefs of Bangladesh’s three armed services on Friday morning at the Armed Forces Division at Dhaka cantonment, Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder said.
Army Chief Gen. Waker-uz-Zaman, Navy Chief Adm. M. Nazmul Hassan and Air Chief Air Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan attended the meeting.
Before the meeting, Yunus paid deep tribute to the martyrs of the Bangladesh armed forces who made the supreme sacrifice in the 1971 Liberation War.
He laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame in their honor.
