DINAJPUR, Bangladesh — Nawabganj upazila Jamaat-e-Islami’s youth wing distributed winter clothing to 700 madrasa students on Friday to help ease the suffering of those affected by cold weather.
The distribution took place at 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, on the grounds of Haluaghat madrasa with support from Renaissance Design Ltd.
Winter garments were handed out to a total of 700 students from various madrasas in the upazila, drawing visible joy from the recipients.
Those present at the distribution included upazila youth wing president Selim Reza, Binodnagar union youth wing president Ariful Islam and representatives of Renaissance Design Ltd.
