Human chain held in Langadu to mark International Anti-Corruption Day

LANGADU — A human chain was held in Langadu upazila on Tuesday to mark International Anti-Corruption Day 2025, jointly organized by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and the upazila anti-corruption prevention committee.

The event began at 10 a.m. at the upazila parishad with the national anthem and the raising of the national flag.

The day was observed under the slogan “Youth unity against corruption builds tomorrow’s purity.” Government officials, teachers, students and people from various walks of life took part in the human chain and pledged to build a corruption-free society.

The event sought to raise public awareness of the dangers of corruption and to encourage everyone to unite in preventing it.
