The drive was carried out on Friday morning under the leadership of Emdad Hossain Milon, joint general secretary of Feni district Chhatra Dal and former convener of the Jaylashkar union Chhatra Dal of Ward No. 8.
Also present were Jaylashkar union BNP leader Babul Member, Kamrul, upazila Swechchhasebak Dal joint convener Delwar Hossain Kiran, upazila Swechchhasebak Dal member Jahidul Islam Jahed, district Chhatra Dal member Shariful Islam Sharif, recently outgoing union Jubo Dal conference committee member Md. Milon said the activities were carried out at the direction of Abdul Awal Mintoo, the BNP’s Feni-3 candidate, and Akbar Hossain, the upazila BNP convener. “Martyred president Ziaur Rahman was a leader of the soil and the people, and we are following in that tradition,” he said.
