Abdul Moyeen Khan, a member of the BNP’s standing committee and Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, has been admitted to the coronary care unit (CCU) of Evercare Hospital. He was admitted after a sudden chest pain.
He was admitted to hospital on Wednesday night, said Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP’s media cell.
Shairul Kabir Khan said Dr A Z M Zahid Hossain, a member of the BNP’s standing committee and Minister for Social Welfare, went to see Abdul Moyeen Khan at 2pm on Thursday (22 October).
On behalf of the family, the party and the government, he asked the people of the country to pray to Allah for the minister.
