Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has said his administration has adopted a new strategy to manage the country’s special situation as economic pressure continues to mount. He made the remarks in a post on the social media platform X on Sunday night.

He said the plan of the “enemy” over the past few months had been to put pressure on Iran’s people by cutting off the country’s vital links and supply systems that are essential to daily life.

While the president acknowledged that economic pressure had increased, he said the support of the people and the measures taken by officials had made it possible to stop the enemy achieving its aims in the economic war.
