The Law and Justice Division of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs has transferred 85 sub-registrars across the country at once. The officers have been told to hand over charge of their current posts and join their new postings by October 29.
The order was issued on Monday (October 26) by Justice Section-6 of the Law and Justice Division and signed by Deputy Secretary (Registration) Md Masud Ali.
The order says the sub-registrars have been transferred from their current posts until further notice in the interest of coordinating the administrative chain, following an October 26 memo from the Department of Registration.
The transferred officers must hand over charge of their current posts by October 29 to an officer nominated by the Inspector General of Registration.
The Inspector General of Registration has also been asked to issue a notice for the transferred officers to join their new postings immediately.
