Satkhira-1 lawmaker Izzatullah and Satkhira-2 lawmaker Abdul Khalek held a meeting with district council chairman Habibul Islam Pabir on Tuesday to discuss development work.
The meeting took place at the Satkhira District Council office at 11 a.m. They discussed the council’s ongoing activities, development projects and work connected to the Ministry of Water Resources.
Both MPs serve on the 13th Parliament’s standing committee for the Ministry of Water Resources. They said they wanted stronger coordination and faster progress on projects linked to the ministry and the district council.
Pabir outlined the council’s activities and water-management priorities. The MPs assured the council of cooperation, while local residents welcomed what they described as a cordial, coordinated approach to district development.
