Gaza’s health ministry has published its latest daily figures for casualties in Israel’s war against Palestinians, which the ministry describes as a war of genocide. According to the figures, the number of people killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza has risen to at least 73,910.
In a statement on Sunday the ministry said the bodies of three people killed in Israeli attacks in the past 24 hours had been brought to hospitals in Gaza. Another 21 people were wounded over the same period.
According to the ministry’s figures, the number killed since the so-called ceasefire in October last year stands at at least 1,393, with 4,822 wounded.
It added that the total number killed since Israel began the war in October 2023 has risen to at least 73,910, with 174,935 wounded. Thousands of Palestinians are believed to be still buried under the rubble.
