Nominations have been invited from all educational institutions in the country for the Independence Award 2027 in a total of 13 fields set by the government. The award recognises glorious and outstanding contributions by individuals, institutions, groups and organisations in these fields. Nominations must be sent by November 1.
The information came in an education ministry letter sent to those concerned on Tuesday.
The letter said nominations are invited for the Independence Award 2027 in 13 fields: independence and the Liberation War, science and technology, medicine, education, literature, culture, sport, rural development, social or public service, population control, public administration, research and training, and any other field set by the government.
The necessary information and forms for the Independence Award can be found on the Cabinet Division’s website (www.cabinet.gov.bd).
Following the Cabinet Division’s instructions on the Independence Award, nominations of people working in the Secondary and Higher Education Division and its offices, agencies and institutions must be sent on the set form, with supporting documents, in 30 sets to the coordination branch by November 1. Hard and soft copies must be sent in the Nikosh font, by email to sas_s4@moedu.gov.bd or through D-Nothi.
