A deal between the United States and Iran could be finalized within the next 24 hours based on ongoing talks, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said.
In a message posted on the social media platform X, he said a peace agreement could be signed electronically as soon as the deal is finalized. Technical-level talks would then be held next week.
Shehbaz Sharif praised the commitment of the United States and Iran in the talks and thanked regional countries for their support.
He said: “We believe this historic peace agreement will create a strong foundation for lasting peace.”
