Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has warned Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan over Turkey’s intervention in Syria. He accused Erdogan of dragging Turkey into a “dangerous adventure.”

In a post on social media platform X, the Israeli defense minister said Israel will not allow any party to threaten its security. He said it would be better for Erdogan not to test the strength of Israel’s self-defense, rather than making “empty and unrealistic statements” against Israel in the Turkish parliament.

Tensions between Israel and Turkey are rising over the situation in Syria and the roles various countries are playing there. Amid this, the Israeli defense minister’s harsh remarks aimed at Turkey’s president have sparked fresh debate.
