At least 54 people have been injured and 18 are missing after a massive explosion at a factory in Qatar, the country’s interior ministry said on Monday, according to the news agency AFP.
In a message on the social-media platform X, the interior ministry said the explosion occurred at a factory in the Ras Laffan Industrial City, leaving 54 people injured and 18 missing.
The relevant authorities are continuing search-and-rescue operations to find those missing.
