Gaibandha-1 (Sundarganj) MP Professor Majedur Rahman distributed cash assistance to poor, destitute, and unwell residents from his discretionary fund on Wednesday (July 1).
The distribution was held at noon at the upazila parishad conference hall. Several hundred people received the assistance.
UNO Iffat Jahan Tuli, upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Professor Shahidul Islam Monju, and other local leaders were present.
