With the approval of the executive committee on Hajj management, the government has set two state-managed packages for the 2027 Hajj.
“Hajj Package-1” has been priced at 615,263 taka and “Hajj Package-2 (economy)” at 505,648 taka.
Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain (Kaikobad) announced the two packages at a news conference at the Secretariat on Tuesday, July 21.
Under Hajj Package-1, pilgrims will be given accommodation within 1,000 to 1,400 meters of the outer courtyard of the Haram Sharif in Makkah, and in the Markaziyah area in Madinah. Their tents will be in Zone-2 in Mina, and meals will be provided by the moallem in Mina and Arafah with “Service Package-3” category services.
The stay in Saudi Arabia will generally be 35 to 40 days. Room upgrades and short-package options may be availed on payment of extra money. The cost of this package is 615,263 taka.
Hajj Package-2 (economy) is somewhat cheaper. Pilgrims will be given hotel accommodation within 2 to 3 kilometers of the outer courtyard of the Haram Sharif in Makkah and, outside the Markaziyah area in Madinah, within 800 meters of the Prophet’s Mosque. Their tents will be in Zone-5 in Mina, and meals will be provided through the moallem in Mina and Arafah with “Service Package-3” category services.
If the hotel is more than two kilometers away, salawat bus service will be available in line with Saudi government rules. The cost of this package is 505,648 taka.
