DHAKA — Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir has announced a human chain demanding prosecution of those responsible for the killings at Shapla Square on May 5, 2013, carried out under the Awami League-led government.
The student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami announced the program on Facebook on Monday.
“A human chain will be held demanding justice for the massacre carried out by the fascist Awami League-led government at Shapla Square on May 5, 2013,” the organization said in the post.
