What will Lionel Scaloni do today? Who will start against Egypt? Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni has already confirmed three changes to the starting lineup. He has also confirmed Leandro Paredes’ return to the starting eleven. Who are the other two?

Argentine outlet El Gráfico reports that Nicolas Tagliafico is returning to the left side of defense after recovering from injury. Facundo Medina had to leave the pitch in the last match due to cramp. Tagliafico will start in Medina’s place today. Thiago Almada is losing his place in midfield, moving to the bench to make room for Paredes.

The outlet also reports changes in Argentina’s attack. Julian Alvarez will start alongside Lionel Messi. Martinez had started in the previous matches of the tournament.

Coach Scaloni also tested Nico Gonzalez in place of Rodrigo De Paul during training, but this change is unlikely to appear from the start of the match. Gonzalez could be introduced later depending on how the match unfolds.

Another Argentine outlet, TyC Sports, reports that Argentina’s starting eleven today will feature Alvarez, Tagliafico and Paredes.
