The notice said a low pressure had formed over the northwest Bay of Bengal and the adjoining north Odisha-West Bengal coastal area. Under its influence, squally weather may pass over the seaports and over the north Bay of Bengal and the adjoining Bangladesh coastal areas. The Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra seaports have been asked to hoist local cautionary signal No. 3. Fishing boats and trawlers in the north Bay of Bengal have been advised to come close to the coast and move with caution.
