Police have recovered the body of a mill worker, S.M. Tanim, 30, at a yarn mill in Araihazar, Narayanganj. His body was found Tuesday afternoon, August 25, at a yarn mill owned by a man identified as Abbas Chairman, in the Dakshinpara area of Fatepur union in the upazila.
Tanim was the son of Abdur Razzak, of the Khandakarbari area, Barolia union, Patiya upazila, Chattogram.
According to police and local sources, local residents and coworkers found Tanim’s body inside the mill on Tuesday afternoon.
They then reported the matter to Araihazar police, who went to the scene and recovered the body.
Md Sabjel Hossain, officer-in-charge of Araihazar police station, said the exact cause of Tanim’s death was not immediately known. The body has been sent to the morgue at Narayanganj’s Victoria General Hospital for autopsy to help determine the cause of death.
The actual cause of death will be confirmed once the autopsy report is available.
