No one will get away with wrongdoing at Dhaka University (DU), and no one will be able to survive there by flexing power, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A B M Obaidul Islam has warned.
He issued the warning at a discussion event held at 11 a.m. Sunday, August 23, at the TSC auditorium to mark “Black Day.”
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A B M Obaidul Islam said: “The events that took place at Dhaka University in August 2007 form a horrifying chapter in the university’s history. The university will never forget the torture and repression inflicted on Dhaka University’s teachers, students and the wider university community during that period.”
