The Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Branch (DB) police have taken Khairul Islam Sajib, son of Azharul Islam Mannan, the member of parliament for the Narayanganj-3 constituency, into custody for questioning. The information was confirmed in a text message from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Sunday evening, June 21.
The message said that, after Narayanganj DB police brought in Khairul Islam Sajib, son of Narayanganj-3 MP Azharul Islam Mannan, for questioning, he had been taken to the DMP’s DB office for further questioning. However, the DB did not immediately say anything about the allegation over which he had been taken into custody for questioning.
