Rajabul, the son of Ainal Haque of Osmanpur village, had been staying overnight to guard his broiler farm beside his home on Sunday night, family sources said. At around 2:33am he sent his wife a message on Messenger, asking her to quickly come to the farm with his middle brother and check whether anyone was around. In the message Rajabul said he was frightened and could hear people whispering near the farm. But as it was deep in the night, his wife was asleep and did not see the message at the time.

Rajabul’s wife saw the message after waking in the early hours of Monday. She rushed to the farm, and finding her husband gone, alerted family members. Relatives who went there found Rajabul’s mobile phone and his clothes lying about, but no trace of him. Family members and locals searched surrounding areas and likely spots but could not find him.
