The Kushtia Sahitya Sangskritik Sangsad (Kushtia Literary and Cultural Council) held a discussion meeting and dua mahfil on Saturday evening at the Kushtia city Jamaat office.
The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr Nurul Amin. Professor Molla Md Ruhul Amin, former principal of Kushtia Government College, spoke as chief guest, and Jamaat’s Kushtia district secretary Enamul Haque as special guest.
Also speaking were Professor Wajed Bangali, head of the Bangla department at Khoksa Government College, Raji Uddin Ahmed Shahin of Kushtia Adarsha Degree College and other leaders. The event was conducted by educationist Salauddin. Many young artists enlivened the programme with emotional songs on the July uprising.
