Police in Kulaura, Moulvibazar, have detained a man named Md Hasan Mia, 30, with weapons, saying he was preparing to commit a robbery.
He was detained at around 1am on Monday night (September 28) in Joypasha village in the municipal area. Other members of the gang fled during the raid.
Hasan lives in Barlekha upazila. He has been produced before a Moulvibazar court, said Jahirul Islam Munna, officer-in-charge of the police station.
