The prime minister’s adviser on education and primary and mass education, Mahdi Amin, has said two new textbooks are coming for grade 4 — one on sports, the other on culture — while for grade 6 there will be technical and vocational education and “Learning with Happiness.” He gave the information at a press conference at the Ministry of Education on Monday (8 June).
Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon and State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj were present at the press conference. Also present were Secondary and Higher Education Division secretary Abdul Khalek; Technical and Madrasa Education Division secretary Md Dawood Mia; Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) director general professor Dr Khan Moinuddin Al Mahmud Sohel; and National University vice-chancellor professor Dr A S M Amanullah.
