DHAKA — Bangladesh’s Attorney General Md. Asaduzzaman said the July Charter should not be a subject of dispute and remains open to revision, warning that derailment would set the country back.
Asaduzzaman spoke as chief guest Saturday morning at a debate competition organized by Debate for Democracy.
Even if implementation of the charter is delayed, the trial for the July killings will move forward through normal legal channels, he said. The judicial process will not be obstructed in any way.
