KHULNA — Police recovered four suspected bombs in Terkhada upazila, and three explosions went off in front of a union council member’s home in the upazila’s Madhupur area the same day, leaving residents alarmed.
Police and local sources said a young man named Walid spotted three red containers lying near the home of Abdur Rouf Faqir in the New Bus Stand area of Terkhada Sadar union on Thursday morning. Around 6:15 a.m., on his way to teach at a coaching center as he does every day, he saw the red containers on a roof overhang. A closer look made him suspect they were bombs. Police recovered that one as well.
