A total of 36 crore 98 lakh 25 thousand 385 shares and units worth Tk1,073 crore 73 lakh 6 thousand 434 were traded on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s main stock market, on Wednesday amid mixed movement in the index.
Of 385 issues, 119 rose, 231 fell and 35 remained unchanged.
Among 193 A-category issues, 60 rose, 118 fell and 15 were unchanged. Of 74 B-category issues, 25 rose, 47 fell and 2 were unchanged.
Of 118 Z-category issues, 34 rose, 66 fell and 18 were unchanged. No N-category issue was traded.
Among 34 mutual-fund issues, only 1 rose, 32 fell and 1 remained unchanged. Both corporate-bond issues fell.
