TEHRAN — Iran has displayed several ballistic missiles in cities across the country amid continuing tensions with the United States and Israel, the BBC reported on Wednesday.
A “Ghadr” ballistic missile was put on show in a main square of the capital, Tehran, where crowds chanted “Death to America,” the BBC said. A commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Majid Mousavi, called for an attack on Tel Aviv.
At the same time, a “Khorramshahr-4” ballistic missile was displayed in another large square in Tehran, with a photograph of a Qatari gas company attached as its target, the report said.
Similar displays were also held in the southern city of Shiraz, the northwestern city of Tabriz and the central city of Zanjan.
Such rallies have been held daily in squares across Iran since the war began on Feb. 28, with participants carrying national flags in shows of support. State television is calling on the public to join the gatherings.
