Seven officers of assistant commissioner (AC) rank in the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have been transferred. The transfers were made in an office order signed by DMP commissioner Mosleh Uddin Ahmad on Thursday (6 August).
Mushfiqur Rahman Tushar of the transport division was moved to the Chawkbazar zone; Tania Sultana of the traffic-Pallabi zone to the Women Support and Investigation division; Sheikh Suraiya Urmi of the procurement division to POM-West; Md Mahfuzar Rahman of the Chawkbazar zone to Bangabhaban Security-1; Nusrat Yasmin Tisa to the traffic-Pallabi zone; Mohammad Saiful Islam to Patrol-Cantonment; and Md Sakilur Rahman to the north division of Detective-Cyber and Special Crime.
The order said the transferred officers had been directed to hand over the charge of their current posts and join their new posts by 6 August.
