Delhi Police have detained Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi and several other senior party leaders from a sit-in outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official residence.
The Congress leaders were protesting on Tuesday outside the prime minister’s residence on Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi, holding the program to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
During the protest, Delhi Police reached the scene and detained Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and other Congress leaders, later moving them away from the site.
