Dhaka University, which began its journey on July 1, 1921, has entered its 106th year today. The university authorities are observing the day as Dhaka University Day.
On the occasion, DUCSU Vice President and Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir central international affairs secretary Sadiq Qayem posted a video produced by the university authorities on his social media profile on Tuesday (June 30).
In the post from his verified Facebook account, he highlighted the launch of a female gymnasium for women students at Dhaka University.
For the first time in Dhaka University’s history, a state-of-the-art female gymnasium equipped with modern facilities is set to open. The gymnasium has been prepared at a cost of approximately 6.5 million taka under DUCSU’s initiative, enabling women students to take a further step toward physical and mental well-being.
