The schedule for this year’s Junior Scholarship examination has been published. The exams will begin on December 8, followed by further exam days on December 10, 13 and 15. Exams will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Six special instructions have also been issued for candidates.
The Dhaka Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education published the schedule Sunday, August 23.
According to the schedule, the Bengali exam will be held December 8, English on December 10, mathematics on December 13, and science along with Bangladesh and global studies on December 15.
Instructions candidates must follow: Candidates must take their seats in the exam hall at least 30 minutes before the exam begins. Exams must be conducted according to the time specified on the question paper. The science exam runs one and a half hours, and the Bangladesh and global studies exam runs one and a half hours, for a total of three hours of testing. Candidates must collect their admit cards from their institution’s head at least seven days before the exam begins. Candidates must correctly fill in their roll number, registration number, subject code and other details, and shade the corresponding bubbles, on the OMR sheet of their answer script. Answer scripts must not be folded under any circumstances. Candidates may use a standard scientific calculator approved by the board during the exam. No one other than the center secretary — neither examinee nor anyone else — may bring a mobile phone or any other electronic device into the exam center.
