Khelafat Majlis Amir Maulana Abdul Basit Azad has visited the National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital to see Alif Chowdhury, who recently lost an eye in an attack — blamed on Chhatra Dal activists — during an NCP procession in Habiganj.
Visiting the hospital on Thursday (6 August), he inquired about Alif’s physical condition and prayed for his quick recovery.
Also present with the Khelafat Majlis Amir were the organisation’s joint secretary general Professor Md Abdul Jalil, Islami Jubo Majlis general secretary Maulana Sohail Ahmad, Sromik Majlis central training secretary Maulana Khaled Sanwar and others.
