A 15-year-old motorcyclist has been killed after being crushed by a truck in Chuadanga Sadar. The accident happened around 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, at Alukdia Bazar on the Chuadanga-Meherpur road.
Relatives and witnesses said the boy worked at a motorcycle repair shop at Alukdia Bazar. He was test-riding a motorcycle to identify a fault when, near a fuel pump at Alukdia Bazar, it collided with a Chuadanga-bound truck. He was crushed under the truck and died on the spot.
Chuadanga Sadar police officer-in-charge Mizanur Rahman said relatives had taken the body home, and that legal steps would follow if a complaint is filed.
