Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, the student wing of the ruling BNP, has announced a month-long program to mark the second anniversary of the historic July-August mass uprising.
Chhatra Dal president Rakibul Islam Rakib and general secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir announced the program on Thursday.
A press release signed by Chhatra Dal office secretary Md. Jahangir Alam said the program aims to commemorate the historic mass uprising, honor the martyrs and those injured, preserve the historical memory of the movement, recognize the contributions of all stakeholders, establish national unity against fascism, and celebrate the second anniversary of the student-led victory against authoritarian rule.
