He urged them to combine religious education with modern science and technology and prepare for higher education.
Professor Ali Azgar said teachers and parents make an important contribution to a student’s success and urged students to aim to become good people, not merely to obtain good results. Zahurul Islam Bishu said education is the backbone of the nation and moral education makes a person truly human. He called on the students to preserve their success through greater diligence, patriotism, honesty and humanity.
Principal Iqbal Hossain said the students’ achievement was the result of the combined efforts of teachers, parents and students and that the madrasa aims to build a generation rich in knowledge, morality and ideals. Members of the governing body, teachers, students, parents, community figures and local journalists attended.
Guests later presented commemorative crests to students who had excelled at different levels of the Dakhil examination. More than 200 successful students from different madrasas in Pabna took part. The event ended with wishes for their bright futures and continued success.
