An unidentified young woman has been killed after being struck by the Parabat Express intercity train near Kulaura upazila in Moulvibazar district.
The incident occurred around 5 p.m. on Friday near a railway crossing close to the outer signal in Kulaura.
The officer-in-charge of Kulaura Railway Police said the body has been recovered, but efforts to identify the victim are ongoing. An autopsy will be conducted after the inquest report is completed.
