MPO-listed teachers told to submit June salary bills by June 22

An option to submit June salary bills for teachers at institutions under the Monthly Pay Order (MPO) scheme has opened. The bills must be submitted online through institution heads by June 22.

A source at the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) gave the information to Dainik Shiksha on Thursday.

According to the source, the option to submit the MPO electronic fund transfer (EFT) bills for June 2026 for MPO-listed schools and colleges has opened. Heads of institutions have been asked to complete bill submission within the set deadline of June 22.

Earlier, on June 8, the Education Ministry approved the May salary proposal for MPO-listed teachers and staff. After the ministry’s approval, a government order (GO) was also issued, and teachers received the money once other procedures were completed.

According to the source, there were a total of 392,789 teachers and staff, of whom 304,541 were in schools and 88,248 in colleges.
