Three more people died with measles symptoms across the country in the 24 hours from 8 a.m. Sunday to 8 a.m. Monday. During the same period, 1 thousand 310 new suspected and confirmed measles cases were reported.
The information was included in the Directorate General of Health Services’ regular measles report Monday afternoon.
The report said that from March 15 this year to now, total deaths from suspected measles have reached 998, while deaths from confirmed measles have reached 101.
Since March 15, a total of 1 lakh 67 thousand 469 people have been admitted to hospitals across the country with measles symptoms. Of them, 1 lakh 60 thousand 705 have recovered and returned home.
